African Girls Empowerment Network Nigeria

The project aims to establish of “safe place” called “Girls Empowerment Hub” and the promoted the local legislation about Forced Marriage.

The purpose of the project is the establishment of “Girls Empowerment Hub”, a safe place where victims of Forced Marriage will find the necessary support and care; as well as setting a telephone line up that ensure their safety.

This project is aimed at 250 girls and in the training of 10 women as social workers in awareness, education and participatory skills. Also, we are working in order to community legislation is respected, about Forced Marriage.
